The Vitamix additional container or replacement is a 32-ounce capacity container made from Eastman Tritan copolyester material, which is virtually unbreakable, more chemically resistant, and contains no BPA. This see-through container with a no-drip spout allows you to witness the processing from start to finish. It features raised calibrations for easily measuring ingredients in ounces, cups, or metrics. The container includes a wet blade and a 2-part locking lid designed for easy removal.

The hardened stainless steel blades within the container break down food and ice, ensuring consistently smooth results. The lid has a removable plug marked with measurements, allowing ingredients to be added while processing. The spill-proof lid is vented to allow hot or cold food to expand and contract. The container also has a soft-grip handle for a comfortable, non-slip grasp.

Designed to process small batches, the container's lightweight design fits easily under most kitchen cabinets. The blades in the standard containers create a simultaneous slicing and pulverizing action to quickly reduce recipe ingredients to a smooth purée. Measuring 9.8 inches high, the container features laser-cut, stainless-steel hammermill and cutting blades with a 3-inch diameter to ensure a consistent blend every time.

With a drop of dish soap and warm water, the Vitamix machine can clean itself in 30 to 60 seconds. Note that the tamper is not included.
